My blog will be moving…….

It’s been a while since I’ve written Mr Blog and I have missed my time with you and with my followers.

I have had a very interesting and enlightening time on my current weight loss journey and will share more of that at a later date.  In the meantime I wanted to let every one know that this blog will be moving to another place shortly, so watch this space to learn where and when this will happen.

I also want to share this question with you and would love to know your views:

For those of you with a current weight issue……..what do you believe comes first- being overweight or lack of self worth?

Is it the fact that you are unhappy with your size that creates a lack of self worth?

Or is it that you don’t consider yourself worthy that creates the weight problem?

And which should you focus on first?

Please post your opinion in the comments below- I can’t wait to hear what you think.

Lack of self worth comes first, when I’m feeling like that, I don’t see a reason to look after myself. Your coffee and coaching group has taught me how to have the confidence to deal with everyday life and apart from my hiccup last night, I’m not using food as a comfort tool. Thank you x

Ah that’s great to hear Lavina- seems like you know what you need to work on as a starting point and by working on your confidence the weight management will follow 🙂 Thanks for sharing 🙂

I think self worth comes first, I use food as a support tool and this results in feeling even worse about myself so I eat more. I am learning, thanks to the coffee and coaching group and support from others in the group to be more confident.

Size is a number but it has become important to us rightly or wrongly! So perhaps we feel self conscious.

Hmm- so I think you are saying that size affects self worth rather than the other way round? Thanks for commenting Caroline 🙂

Great question I think the self worth and the weight go hand in hand. If I were to expand on it, I would think it first occurs in your mind and then shows up on your physical body. Can’t wait for the big reveal :))

Thanks for commenting Antonina :0) …….interesting isn’t it? Which should we attempt to fix first? I have a sneaky feeling the answer will be different for each of us and could indeed be different at different stages in our lives.:)

Good question Anna. I know when I am ubeat , happy and not stressed I am more in control of what I eat. I always loose weight when I’m on holidays which might seem odd but I cook better and do more exercise. When life is stressful and I feel bad in myself that is when I reach for the bad stuff. Vicious circle. Lovely to have your blog back x

Size is a number I fight to keep
Whether it is clothes size or a weight number
I need to sort my head out to not let that rule me
Lovely to have your blog back Anna xx

I think if I’m feeling good about myself then the foods that cause my weight issue don’t go near my mouth. So in answer to your question then self worth comes first for me.
